A browser for the Holland Festival

The site of Holland Festival provides a program browser/calendar made with an AJAX interface for viewing over 3 weeks of events in a grid. You can choose to filter the results by genre, location and route using drop menus. By a sliding selector, that is draggable, you can move the range to left and right to narrow or expand the period. You can click the individual events in the grid and a layer appear with all the corrisponding informations about it.

Here’s an illusive piece of what was seen on OFFF 09 held for the second time in Lisbon on the first weeks of May. A three-day festival of everything related to digital art, web, print, interactive design and motion graphics.

92th collective - Bevilacqua La Masa

Mate in the 1994 was ten years old and he had a cat called Pongo. He enjoyed to close himself in the bedroom with his cat and throw him in the air to take some photos of it. He always falled standing.
Fourteen years late he found the photos in a old memory album. He shows them to Valeria and they laugh a lot. Like there isn’t anything else of laugh.
In the begin of November there was the deadline of announcement for the 92nd art collective Bevilacqua La Masa and, without think, he designed a poster with that photo.
On saturday 13th December will be the inauguration of the collective and that cat will be hanging in all Venice streets.

Good little Mate and good big Mate, they won together.
They mill a little bit, but he always falled standing.

Give a cat to your children.

During the next days Lisbon helds for the first time the actual OFFF for 3 days, which brings the latest digital atmosphere all together. Trust me the space is huge, located right in the city center, in one of the most crowded places of Lisbon’s night Life. Definitely a must see.
